PERC in DOE’s 4th PECR Launching

Last June 30, 2011, the Department of Energy (DOE) officially launched its 4th Philippine Energy Contracting Round (PECR) at Hotel Intercontinental Manila, Makati City. As one of the event’s sponsor, PetroEnergy participated in the exhibit showcasing various projects, services, and products from different industry players. Prior to the official launching, PetroEnergy also participated in PECR roadshows held in Singapore and Edsa Shangrila, Makati.
PECR is a regular activity of DOE aimed to showcase the petroleum exploration opportunities in the Philippines. This year DOE offered for bidding for 15 blocks with a total area of more than 10 million hectares. Such opportunities will hopefully increase investments and other economic gains for the country.
